As an experiment I built 2 guitars with european / north american  woodspecies as an alternative for tropical endangered species.

One is a classic guitar, inspired by the Ramirez 1966. Back and sides are pear, spruce top, maple neck, walnut fingerboard and bridge.

The other one is a steelstring guitar. It has plane for the back and sides, a sitka spruce top, a maple for the neck. The fingerboard and bridge are made of walnut.
